OMMGG soooooooo much has happened since my last blog entry.

I don’t think I told you guys how my mom made me volunteer at the local library during the summer. Well, the lady who works at the library (Debbie) wants me to switch volunteering days because there’s “too much people working on Tuesday”. *rolls eyes* I was so devastated when I heard this, I actually cried. I LOVE my Tuesday night group! We have so much fun!! Me, Sarah, and Jeremy Stalcup. Gosh I’m gonna miss them so much. The other day I volunteer (Saturday afternoon) is so boring!! I’m stuck with this kid who doesn’t make much of an effort to talk. -.- AGGGGHHHH. Well, last Tuesday was my last day working on a Tuesday night :( Unfortunately Sarah couldn’t make it but me and Stalcup had so much fun. We didn’t have that much customers come in that day since we work at the end of the day and plus the Summer Reading Program is almost over so me and Stalcup left early and had a random ultimate ninja game outside the library since it was my last day. Then my sister came. And I left. And I was so pissed at Debbie for making me leave Tuesday night volunteering. T___T

OH MY GOD. As if that wasn’t horrible enough, I realized that I had a fever Tuesday night. Like 100 degrees or something. So I had some Tylenol and took some Benadryl. The Benadryl was super minty and I had to leave it in my mouth to melt. Kinda like those breath-fresheners. And I let me tell you one thing, I HATE MINT. Words can’t even describe how much I hate it. It’s disgusting. And it starts a riot in my mouth. And that’s exactly what happened. For two minutes I was looking/acting like I was dying. I was gagging and sticking my tongue out and rolling all over the floor. My sister was laughing. Well, the good thing about it was that it knocked me out so I had a good sleep. Until I woke up next morning and realized that I had another fever. GOD DANGITTT. >_< So I took some tylenol again and the same cycle repeated for a few days. I was sick on and off. My throat hurt like hell and whenever I made a sudden movement, my head would hurt like crazy and I'd feel all dizzy and stuff. I had a cold. In the middle of July. FML.

SOOOOO. Days after being sick on and off, my dad decided to take me to the doctor’s. And he didn’t take me to the doctor I normally go to. He took me to this other doctor. He talks about her like she’s really something big. He thinks she’s the greatest doctor in history. Her name’s Dr. Wijeteluk (idk if I spelled it right). I remember I used to come to her when I was little. Apparently, I came there one time when I was like three and she had to give me a shot and I kicked her. And threw a huge tantrum. I also remembered coming there once when I was five and sitting on this circley yellow wheely chair while she checked my mom and she yelled at me to get off her chair. All the memories I’ve had of her, you can guess that I didn’t really like her. And I was seeing her again after years and years. I was definitely not happy. I didn’t want to go but my dad kept saying that we have to go to her because she’s the greatest doctor in history and began this huge lecture on how it’s really hard to find such good doctors nowadays and how we’re lucky to have Dr.Wijeteluk.

Well, we drove to Herndon (where I used to live before I moved) and parked in the familiar brown ghetto shopping center. The shopping center I used to cry whenever we came to when I was little. So we got to her office at 1:30 and walked into that familiar waiting room.

Well, we saw Wijeteluk and she started saying a bunch of stuff I couldn’t understand because of her hardcore Sri Lankan accent. Then she kept confusing me with my sister and it took us like five minutes to tell her that I was not Rabelle Siddiki. I was Malhar Siddiki. The youngest daughter. Not the older one. She was filling out a form for me so she asked me questions like how to spell my name and my birthday. I swear I had to repeat the same answer like a gajillion times because she’s like half deaf.

Then she called me and told me to follow her to the check up room. As I went, I couldn’t help but realize how incredibly short she was. I swear she was like two feet. She was up to my belly button. Daaaaannnnggg, I thought as I stared at her unusual shortness. I guess a normal person would say that she isn’t that short but I’m pretty tall for a fifteen year old. I’m 5′6”. Well, she checked me and stuff. Then she told me to lift my shirt up and I kinda felt uncomfortable doing that since most doctors I’ve come across just check my heart beat and stuff without me lifting my shirt up but whatever.

The appointment, thank God, only lasted like five minutes. Then she told us that I had upper respiratory infection and I have to take penicillin twice a day until August 5th. It didn’t really taste as bad as it looked but ughhh it has the worse side effects ever!! Side effects include, upset stomach, diarrhea, abdominal side pains, nausea, and vomiting. Well, that night when I had an upset stomach and my sides were hurting and I was feeling a bit nauseous I realized that I was gonna have to deal with that until August 5th. Thankfully I didn’t throw up but I still felt nauseous. I still cried though. I cried for hours. My stomach hurt really badly and I woke up with a stomach ache too. WORST. WEEK. EVER.

Well, enough of that! The good thing is, I got a haircut!!! I looks the same but the only difference is that I got shorter/choppier bangs. The rest still looks the same. Just more choppy layers on top and a trim on the bottom.

Well, then. This blog was pretty long. I apologize. ^^;;
