Asphyxiated first opened sometime in March 2009 and is hosted by So-pink.org. Before I opened this site, I used to run this other site on Freewebs but I decided to "delete" it since Freewebs kept putting up these annoying ads. That's really all there is to know. :]

About The Name

I spent at least three days (literally) thinking up of names for this site. I wanted something unique. At the same time I wanted it to be something short. Later on, I came across the word "Asphyxiated" and it really appealed to me. I loved the way it sounded.

Asphyxiated: To produce asphyxia in.
Asphyxia: The extreme condition caused by lack of oxygen and excess of carbon dioxide in the blood, produced by interference with respiration or insufficient oxygen in the air; suffocation.
